1. Free Plan
UptimeMonitorX offers a free plan with up to 5 monitors, 5-minute check intervals, 1-day check history, basic email alerts, and 2 dashboard widgets. The free plan does not require any payment and can be used indefinitely. No refund or cancellation policy applies to the free plan as there are no charges.
2. Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscription plans are billed on a monthly basis as selected at the time of purchase. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following terms:
- Subscriptions are activated immediately upon successful payment.
- You will have access to all features included in your chosen plan for the duration of the billing cycle:
- Pro Plan ($6/mo) - 50 monitors, 1-min intervals, 30-day history, 20 notification channels, 3 team members, 10 widgets, 5 API keys
- Business Plan ($24/mo) - 200 monitors, 30s intervals, 90-day history, unlimited channels, 20 team members, 100 widgets, 20 API keys
- Payments are processed securely through Cashfree Payments, supporting UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking.
3. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles after cancellation.
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the free plan at the end of the billing period.
- Your monitors exceeding the free plan limit (3) will be paused (not deleted) and can be reactivated upon re-subscribing.
- Status pages, escalation policies, and team members exceeding free plan limits will become read-only.
- API keys exceeding the free plan limit (1) will be deactivated.

4. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with our service. Our refund policy is as follows:
Within 7 Days of Purchase
If you are not satisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. This applies to first-time subscriptions only.
After 7 Days
Refunds are generally not provided after 7 days of purchase. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances such as prolonged service outages, billing errors, or documented failures in core functionality (monitoring, alerting, or notification delivery).
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscription refunds within the 7-day window will be processed for the full amount. After 7 days, a prorated refund may be issued at our discretion based on the remaining months.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your registered email address, plan name, and the reason for the refund.
- Alternatively, submit a support ticket from your Dashboard under the "Billing" category.
- Our team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds are processed through Cashfree Payments and may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider.
- UPI refunds are typically faster (1–3 business days) while card refunds may take 5–10 business days.
- You will receive an email confirmation at your registered address once the refund has been initiated.
7. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Violation of our Terms & Conditions leading to account suspension.
- Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle renewal.
- Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described on the pricing page prior to purchase.
- Issues caused by third-party service outages (Slack, Discord, Telegram, Cashfree, etc.) that are outside our control.
- Failure to configure notification channels, monitors, or integrations correctly by the user.
8. Plan Upgrades & Downgrades
- Upgrades: When upgrading (e.g., Free → Pro or Pro → Business), you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle. New features and limits are available immediately.
- Downgrades: When downgrading, the new lower rate will apply from the next billing cycle. No partial refund is issued for the current cycle. Excess monitors, team members, and API keys will be paused/deactivated at the end of the billing period.
